FLOAT EXPERIENCE

ALASKA FLY FISHING

If you would like to go fishing at Jewell Lake please enter the date and time that you would like to go.
Beginning

Jewell Lake

Drive west on Dimond Blvd. until you reach the lake on the right. If you want a picnic area turn right at dimond and Jewell Lake Road. Then turn left on 88th Ave.

Jewell Lake is largely surrounded by private property. I have caught some nice fish on this lake but most of the action is small fish along the shoreline. This lake is good for learning to fly fish. If you take the float tube and fish the shoreline south working along the docks you will find schools of small fish. I have caught larger fish in the shallows on the north end of the lake.
