Beginning

Lucille Lake

|To get access to this lake turn left on Goose Bay Road. After about a mile you will see a sign for the Lucile Lake Campground.|I try to keep my mind open. I know other lakes that are supposed to have bigger fish. Fish and game tell me that this lake produces fish from 14 to 18 inches long.|I have not found better rainbow fishing in the state. If you catch fish as small as the fish and game reports you are using the wrong fly or wrong technique. I catch fish from 18 to 24 inches with occasional fish over 30 inches. The consistency of the catch is amazing.|I can't recommend Lake Lucille enough. I had a customer last year that scheduled one day with me and then came back two more times. The last time he was supposed to be halibut fishing.|
