Sand Lake is located near the airport. Public access is through Sand Lake School on the west side of Jewel lake road. The lake is surrounded mostly by private property. The main fish in the lake are Northern Pike. Fish and Game wants to see these fish go away. They were illegally introduced. You are encouraged to keep all the fish you catch. Their are some really nice fish in this lake.
