|To reach Benka Lake head north to the Talketna Spur Rd. Go three miles north and turn right on Yoder Rd. Six tenths of a mile to Lakeview Street. Turn left and go to the parking lot.|The fishing is excellent. The fish range from 10 to 25 inches. There are landlocked Silver Salmon but the real fishing is for Rainbows and Arctic Char. If you want to catch large Arctic Char this is the best place I know of. |
