Beginning

Kepler Lake

|Kepler Lake is a short walk from the north end of the Kepler Bradly Park parking lot.|The fishing can be excellent. This lake is where I discovered the value of trolling with a fly. I was moving from the dock to me favorite fishing grounds to the north. I decided to let the fly drag behind me. I thought about the retrieve speed for the fly and tried to match that speed. The fish I had been catching were 12 to 14 inches long but the one I caught was about 20 inches long. Later that day I tried trolling again this time I caught a 26 inch Rainbow. I do a lot of trolling now.|
